Business-formation intelligence — early access

See what the world is starting to build — and what nobody is building for them.

The Nascent Index watches every new domain in every country on earth. AI reads each site and files it by what the business actually is — a SaaS, a salon, a solar installer. Last quarter that surfaced 1,012 new Italian salons coming online, and only 3 booking tools being built for them. Gaps like that, in every market, every week.

Pricing

Priced like an instrument, not a database.

A legacy intelligence seat runs five figures a year. One analyst-day of manual sourcing costs more than a month of Nascent.

Founding cohort: 50 seats. Founding members lock today’s rate for as long as they stay subscribed, vote on the next two markets we cover, and get a direct line to the founder. When the 50 seats are gone, the public price rises; founding rates don’t.

Why 50? The weekly deep-dives are analyst-built at launch; fifty is what we can honestly deliver well. No countdown timers — seat counts are updated by hand. We have zero customers today and no logos to show you.

FAQ

Fair questions.

What is The Nascent Index?

A business-formation intelligence service. It detects new companies at the moment they come online, reads what they do, and groups them into ranked micro-trends — so you see what is appearing, not just what already exists.

How is this different from Crunchbase or PitchBook?

Those are databases of companies that have already surfaced — funded, launched, covered. The Nascent Index watches formation itself, weeks earlier. Different layer, different question: they answer “what exists,” we answer “what is appearing.”

Is it only tech companies?

No. The AI files every new business under what it actually is — a salon in Italy, a dental clinic in Spain, a solar installer, a SaaS. Tech is one shelf; the index covers the whole store. That’s where the gaps show up: a thousand new salons and three new salon-booking tools is a finding, not a coincidence.

Where does the data come from?

From the public technical footprints a business leaves the moment it comes online — a domain activating, a first page published, pricing going up, first roles posted. Everything we read is public; none of it is private data. We’ll publish detection-lag benchmarks and a rolling precision audit — the share of indexed formations still live 90 days after detection. The speed claim and the quality of what we index are both verifiable.

How do you keep noise out of the index?

Most of what appears each day is noise — parked domains, test sites, rebrands, weekend experiments. A formation only enters the index once it clears a confidence threshold and shows real signs of life: a real page a person can read, then pricing published, then first roles posted. The confidence score ships on every detection, so you can set your own bar.

Bloomberg tells you what exists.
The Nascent Index tells you what is appearing.
